Thermostats

Ecobee4 thermostat with Amazon Alexa. You can voice control this thermostat, plus it comes with an app to be able to change the temperature when you are out of the house. It has an extra sensor so you can track the temperature difference between floors and control the system via the remote sensor if desired. Most importantly it tracks what your HVAC is doing over time to help diagnose both the system and the house.

Ecobee EMS-02 (now just EMS) thermostat. This commercial thermostat allows running multiple pieces of equipment like HRVs, whole house dehumidifiers, and so forth. It also allows practitioners to see what’s going on in your home. Here is our Ecobee album. We can diagnose a great deal remotely with these.

Ecobee EMSsi Commercial Thermostat. Slightly less expensive than the standard EMS model, but this does not have a separate board to run extra equipment. Allows remote login for your pro, and has an app for you, too. The ecobee3 only allows a 3 day lookback for contractors, often not enough to diagnose what’s wrong.

Ecobee power supply. Most boilers don’t have constant power for the Ecobee thermostat. This is the work around.
